Bulk Makhana (Fox Nuts) for Dutch Importers
Graded, handpicked fox nuts for importers, wholesalers and snack brands in the Netherlands, including buyers who distribute onward across the EU.
Fox nuts for Dutch importers and EU distributors
Short answer: National Makhana Udyog supplies graded, handpicked makhana (fox nuts) to Dutch importers in 4 Sutta+ to 6 Sutta+ grades, shipped from India to Rotterdam or your nominated port. Air trials start from 8 kg, and a 20 ft container carries about 2–2.5 tonnes. Prices are quoted on request.
The Netherlands is a major European gateway for imported food, so many buyers here import in bulk and then repack, relabel or distribute to other EU countries. We plan each shipment around that: clear batch codes, full traceability and the lab reports your compliance team will ask for.

What Dutch importers should confirm before ordering
- Dutch authorities: food controls in the Netherlands are handled by the NVWA (Netherlands Food and Consumer Product Safety Authority). The EU-wide requirements are covered on our Europe importer page.
- Customs and onward EU movement: customs clearance usually happens at the first EU entry point such as Rotterdam, and the importer needs an EORI number. Cleared goods can then move on to other EU countries. We supply batch codes and lab reports for every consignment.
- Labelling and onward sale: Regulation (EU) No 1169/2011 sets labelling rules, with language requirements by member state of sale. If you sell on to other EU countries, labels must suit each market. Many buyers relabel after arrival.
Rules change. Your importer or compliance adviser should confirm the current text before ordering. We supply the reports and records that support that check. We do not claim organic or retailer-scheme certification.
Roasted & flavoured makhana for Dutch importers
Dutch importers often buy roasted makhana to distribute onward to retailers in several EU countries.

- Packs: 50 g pouches in master cartons, bulk packs, or private label to your artwork.
- Labels for each country of sale are the importer's or brand's responsibility. HSN code 20081929.
