Short answer: National Makhana Udyog supplies graded, handpicked makhana (fox nuts) to Moroccan importers in 4 Sutta+ to 6 Sutta+ grades, shipped from India to Casablanca or your nominated port. What Moroccan importers should confirm before ordering
- Import and labelling rules: Morocco has its own food import and labelling requirements. Your importer or customs broker should confirm the current rules for the exact product and pack before ordering.

Roasted & flavoured makhana for Moroccan retail
Moroccan distributors and health-food shops can start with a small range of roasted makhana alongside plain kernels.
- Flavours: Peri Peri, Salt & Pepper and Lemon & Mint.
- Process: the makhana is first roasted in an air fryer. Then, on customer demand, seasoning is added for flavouring with avocado oil, olive oil or pure ghee.
- Packs: 50 g pouches, bulk packs, or your own brand with French or Arabic text printed to your artwork.
- HSN code 20081929. Halal documents are confirmed in writing before order. We do not claim a Halal certificate we do not hold.
Roasted makhana packaging
- Pillow pouch, 10–100 g. Rollstock format is custom-printed laminated film formed, filled and sealed on a fully automatic machine with nitrogen flushing. Preformed pouch format is filled and sealed on semi-automatic equipment with nitrogen flushing.
- Stand-up zipper pouch, 25–100 g. Resealable, filled and sealed on semi-automatic equipment and nitrogen flushed before final sealing.
- Composite can or PET jar, 40 g, 50 g, 70 g and 80 g. Oxygen absorbers and/or desiccant sachets may be used as per the packaging specification.
- Transparent bulk pouch, 250 g, 400 g, 500 g and 1 kg. Supplied for repacking and food-service use.
- Secondary packaging. Corrugated master cartons.
